I've started making a list of positive things. Really, they are answers to prayer if I'm honest. They are little miracles and blessings I don't want to take for granted. Seems, I have a bad memory and tend to quickly forget what the Lord provides for this journey. It's easy to get discouraged these days, so I'm going with this strategy of writing these little landmarks down. I'll be able to look back at them and see with my own eyes "fruit", "progress", "proof", "evidence", or whatever other word fits. It'll be defense against the devil's claim that the Lord isn't really alive and well, or active in my life. It'll be offense that inspires more faith and belief. It'll give me the vision that seems to be so difficult to maintain among the blurry noise of this busy, selfish life. May I remember these key, pivotal moments. Please, Lord, have mercy on me and let me see more and more of these nuggets. Remind me of your love for me and your calling for my life.
