Isaiah, Chs. 21-25.
Ch. 21:
*What God wants, God gets. This is good considering He wants me.
*All of what I build can be destroyed in an instant. Remember Job?
*Remember, I get to choose sides. Don't blow it.
*Repent, before it's too late.*
Ch. 22:
*I should think of what God has established and created, and give Him honor, glory, praise, worship, and be thankful. My life should be a tribute to Him.
*Live a humble life. Honor Him.
*Pride is a killer. This life doesn't peak or get to potential, though man sells his soul to attain a 'larger than life' status.
*Our kids' kids existence and eternity depend on our decisions/choices to live in Godliness. That's some motivation and fruit!
Ch. 23:
*Interesting: another story of pride leading to destruction. Hmmm...I wonder what we are supposed to take from that?
*Another interesting point: another tale of God's judgment leading to righteousness, fruit, goodness, and service, allegiance, loyalty to the Lord. Heaven vs. Hell?
Ch. 24:
*The earth will be destroyed, devastated, ruined. That includes geology, geography. Science will be altered.
*People have violated laws, broken covenants; therefore, a curse consumes earth and they must bear the guilt. Most are burned up, a few are left.
*Joy turns to gloom-hell.
*Voices of praise from ends of the earth? Who dat?
*The Lord punishes powers in heavens above and kings below? Hell again?
*The Lord reigns in Jerusalem? New kingdom? New Earth? Heaven?
Ch. 25:
*Things can change in an instant, even after staying the same/getting worse for a long time.
*Sometimes I need to just stop and praise Him, no matter what's going on.
*He's gonna fix everything rightly. He loves us so much as to remove our "dis-graces". By God's power, I can be as He intended: a vessel of honor, good, true, holy, righteous, pure. He makes the impossible-possible.
*It's salvation time, baby! I trust Him wholeheartedly (Prov. 3:5-6). May I rejoice in my salvation? Thank you.
