New Years resolutions. We resolve to be Firefighters for Christ this coming year. We emphasize the word "for", because if we aren't for Him, are we against Him? We hope to kindle the fires of faith and continue to trust the Lord with all of our hearts, being strengthened and encouraged by Himself! He will be our esteem, our confidence, and our identity. We will seek Him and remember what He says about us. We will be reminded of His awesome love for us. We will keep going, keep running to win our race. We don't look to do anything different this year, except that the Lord moves us to change. We will read His love letter and continue to meet together regularly to encourage each other and build each other up. We will daily surrender to Him and allow His will to occur in our lives. We invite Heaven to Earth. We determine to be men of love, strength, and courage, providing good examples at work and at home. We will be men of prayer and belief, lifting up the brotherhood. May the world know that we are His firefighters.
