2.
We’ve Got A Rock!
(2
Pet. 1:3; James 1:6; Mark 4:35; Phil. 4:13; Eph. 4:14; 1 John 4:18)
Here
we go. The sail is full, the wind is
right.
The
sun is warm on my face.
The
Captain cries, “Let us go on over to the other side, to sunken ships of the
human
race”.
And
now I close my eyes. I try to free my
mind.
I
try to let His peace be here.
This
is me I pray, who I was born to be.
O’
Perfect Love, there is no fear!
We’ve
got a Rock. So we’ve got to rock!
He’s given me everything I need.
All my life I give for His glory.
You know I just have to live this.
Oh Lord, I have to give this.
I can do everything through Him, who
gives me strength.
Lord, I know we can do this.
Oh yeah, so we’ve got to rock!
Here
they come. Waves of doubt and wind of
fear
The
spray is stinging my face.
Broken
men, floating in the frothy surf, but can’t swim. None are swimming to us.
And
now I close my eyes. I try to free my
mind.
I
try to let His peace be here.
Oh
but wait, there’s one. Yeah, over there
is one!
One
who’s coming to us here!
We’ve
got a Rock. So we’ve got to rock!
