Power  Satan is nothing to God.  God is not worried about him.  The devil lures us away by tempting us to engage in battles already won by our Saviour.  On the contrary, Jesus reminds us that we are the victors and the gates of hell will not prevail, so who is on the offensive?  We are, of course!  Notice God described no armor protecting our backsides!  While we are on this Earth, we must draw near to God and invite his Spirit to come in power to do his will here.  We are the ladder to bridge heaven and earth today.

Power

(Jer. 32:27; Jn. 16:32; Col. 3:3; 1 Jn. 4:4; Matt. 16:18; Rom. 12:21; 2 Tim. 1:7; Rev. 5)

Who are you to say, “Come out and play” as a canny chameleon?  Then you rant and rave and throw a hissy fit, try to draw me out alone.  No more lies.  No more disguise!  Who are you to say you’re greater than the One, who made a change in me?  By the blood of the Lamb, I know who I am, hidden beneath His wing!  The battle is won!  He’s overcome!  Come on, boys, now ladder up!  Raise a bridge to bring us the power to prevail.  Rain down the hand of God.  Unleash the fury of angels and storm the gates of hell until the walls tumble down.  Come on, boys, and ladder up.  Who are you to say that it can’t be done?  Who are you to stand against us?  When the King commands that Love always wins, we’ll unite a mighty offense.  You’re going down!  The time is now!
