6.  Path of the King

(Prov. 3:5-6; 1 Cor. 13, 14; Rom. 8:30)

Maybe if I could walk on an angry sea.

Maybe if I could talk in the tongue of angels for you and for me.

But if I have not love, what good am I,

To those who’ve been called, those who’ve been freed, to be

glorified?

Can I trust You, Lord, with all of my heart?

Can I lean on You and not my own understanding?

In all my ways, acknowledge You?

Every day, can You make straight, the path of the King?

Maybe if I could heal all your pain and your sorrow.

Maybe if I could bring joy, if I could bring peace unto the world.

Maybe then I would lead with the strength of a king.

Maybe then I would see Your mighty hand in all the little things.
