Life Hebrew priests of old believed that their very breath was God. Without God’s sustenance, we would breathe our last and return back to the dust we were created from. Thus they would practice breathing the letters of God’s unspeakable, holy name to honor him for their lives. God created us in his image ( the awesome image of power and glory) and breathed life into us. He is the author of life; therefore, he is life. Hence, our response is to acknowledge him in all of our ways.
Life
(Gen. 2:7; Ex. 20:1; Ezek. 37:1-14; Job 33:4; Matt. 16:16; John 14:6)
You are “I am, the Lord, your God”. Oh, Anohee, Yahweh, Elohim. River of life, the taste of love upon my lips. Adonai, current from a kiss. River of life, dust to man by tongues of flame. Adonai, Oh, I breathe Your name: Yode, Hay, Vah, Hay. Father and Son, Holy Spirit. Oh, Avi, Hammashiach, Ruach.
