11.
Come Unto Me
(Matt.
11:28-30)
Out
of Me, you want to be a hero.
Away
from Me, you want to just have some fun.
Instead
of Me, your days add up to zero.
Leaving
Me, this walk becomes a run.
Run
away from the pain. Run away from it
all.
Run
away from the game. Run
away just to fall.
Come into peace. Come into rest. Come on into Love.
Come unto Me.
Depart
from me, this world of many troubles.
Get
lost from me, all the things that bring me down.
Wash
me clean of all the faces of evil.
Lord,
bury me into your holy ground.
Come
unto Me all you who are weary. There’s something that you’ve missed.
Take
my yoke and learn from Me and your soul will find its
rest.
He
bore the pain. He took it all. He won the game. So we would not fall.
