Legacy

(Lk. 9:48; Jn. 7:34;)

Legacy, All I leave.  Truth or madness?  Love or lunacy?

Will the deaf man hear?  Will the blind girl see?  May it be when I become that dream.

I’m going long.  I’m going deep.  I’m outta here.  Running free!

Where I am, you cannot be.  ‘Till you believe and receive the Legacy.

Beyond the fathoms, many leagues. Imagine greatness, rising from the least.

Take it downtown, into the upper seats. Take it early, before I am out of reach.

Repeat Chorus

Cut down by the One who knows me, “The Rock and Fire”.

Write down my story in stone.  May you be inspired!

Repeat Chorus

Oh, what a song we will sing!  All for the joy of the redeemed!

You and me, we would have to agree,

We owe it all, everything, to the Legacy.
